We developed the concept, naming, visual and verbal branding, strategy and content plan for the Desk Manager event "Wake Up Manager".
The challenge was to create one big tech event through panels with important names in the market. Among meetings brainstorms and creations, there was little time for delivery of the project. It took 40 days and more than 130 hours of work.
Outcome
The Wake Up Manager was a unique event that initially took place online, followed by "pocket" versions called Wake Up for You targeting strategic clients and regions all over Brazil where the company aimed to expand. These pocket events promoted networking and included a memorable occasion at a kart race.
concept & goals
For the elaboration of this new universe, one of the biggest inspirations was to look deeply into the Desk Manager itself, a company that breathes technology.
The participants were taken to a new reality, despite the distance and the online format of the event.
visual & verbal concepts
Create a concept for an event that resonates with attendees.
state brand maturity
Promote an event with guests from big tech companies
visual identity
Aiming to keep the visual identity straightforward, the colours chosen were already present in the Desk Manager branding.
The choice of a typography monospaced aligned with the tech atmosphere of the event and the DM-01 concept.
storytelling
We presented a scenario and a story to be told using a character (DM-01) voice and textual resources as a means of transport and connection with the public.
As an Inbound Marketing strategy, we created value, and attracted and delighted the customers through email marketing and social media, delivering memorable content that would be more explored at the event.
Throughout the whole process, we did A/B tests and continual iterations to guarantee the satisfaction of stakeholders and users.
landing pages flow
Four Landing Pages were developed to ensure that the user would feel engaged and immersed in the plot from the beginning. On those pages, the user could choose between "to wake up" and "stop in time". The first would lead them to a page with the subscription form. The second page led them to a page with a timer that stopped at 00:00:00.

Wake up for You
Following the success of the online edition, clients and partners expressed a strong interest in a follow-up event. To meet this demand, it was introduced a pocket version called 'Wake Up for You,' a more intimate gathering focused on networking and fostering new connections. From a strategic standpoint, this initiative played a key role in helping Desk Manager further expand its presence across Brazil.
