App Project, used daily by our internal teams to manage tasks, had usability issues and visual inconsistencies. During my regular use, I identified several pain points that needed immediate attention.
Through a heuristic analysis and feedback from satisfaction surveys and our NPS, I initiated a project to overhaul the entire user experience and interface.
Outcome
The redesigned App Project will be launched soon, after 9 months of design, research, and collaboration. Now being a product adhered to market-leading UX heuristics and with improved user experience.
The project led to my official hiring as the first Product Designer at Desk Manager, and the new design not only enhanced the platform’s usability but also set the foundation for future iterations.

project goals
The redesign of the App Projeto had three core objectives:
improve user experience
Address usability pain points identified through heuristic analysis and user feedback.
implement a consistent visual identity
Align the app’s interface with the recent brand facelift.
optimize workflow and navigation
Enhance the app’s logic, workflow, and navigation to improve task management.

I began by conducting an in-depth heuristic analysis, combined with gathering user feedback from NPS and satisfaction surveys.
At the beginning of this project, I was still the Art Director in the Marketing department, which made it harder to conduct some project phases.
research & prioritization
With a prioritization framework to map out which issues needed to be tackled first, I worked closely with the Head of Product. The intention was to align our efforts with a recent brand facelift that had not yet been fully applied to the product.
visual & interaction design
Using my expertise in UX/UI and branding, I redesigned the interface to not only be efficient but also reflect the brand facelift. I focused on improving navigation flows, enhancing the user experience, and creating a more cohesive and modern aesthetic.
roadmap & execution
I've played a crucial role in prioritizing the roadmap, and ensuring the new features and visual changes are being implemented smoothly and logically.

looking back now
Working closely with cross-functional teams, I learned the importance of balancing user needs with business goals while driving a complete overhaul of a key product.
Although leading a project of this scale and seeing it through to completion took time, I am proud to say that the redesign is ready for launch, with all key goals achieved.
